Hiya, I'm Liuliu.
I am a PhD student at the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne, supervised by Mike Conway, Jo Robinson, and Vlada Rozova.
My main research interest is digital mental health, applying computational methods, e.g., natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML), to mental health-related problems. Currently, I specifically focus on self-harm and suicide prevention, both in social media and in hospital settings.
I hold an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning and Data Science from the University of Southern California (USC), and a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Nankai University, China, with a double degree in Law.
